Remy Ma brings out a slew of female rappers during Summer Jam set…except Nicki Minaj

Remy Ma was many of the performers who graced Hot 97’s 2017 Summer Jam stage, which took place at the MetLife stadium in East Rutherford, New Jersey.

On June 11, the Bronx rapper performed her recent singles “All the Way Up” and “Money Showers” with Fat Joe and her older singles, “Whuteva” and “Conceited.”

After her performances, Remy brought out hip-hop icons Queen Latifah, Lil Kim, MC Lyte, Lady of Rage, Monie Love and newcomers Young M.A. and Cardi B.

Young M.A. performed her 2016 single, “OOOUUU,” Cardi B performed “Foreva,” Lil Kim performed her “Quiet Storm” verse, and Queen Latifah finished with her Grammy award-winning song, “U.N.I.T.Y.”

Shortly after the female rappers exited the stage, Remy performed “Sheether,” her infamous diss track to Nicki Minaj. The performance also included a big screen with memes that ridiculed Nicki.

With the recent snippet release of Nicki dissing Remy on the 2 Chainz track, “Realize,” it is apparent that Remy is out for blood…again. In the song, Nicki accuses Remy of having her husband, Papoose ghostwrite “Shether.”

In the song, Nicki raps, “I been winning for 8 years consistently, at least respect it. Papoose wrote that Ether record, but I broke Aretha record.”

After news of the diss surfaced, Remy released a freestyle to Future’s “Mask Off.” In the song Remy raps, “Who Imma murder next?/Maybe her, nah she ain’t worth it yet/I burned you/Your new name is Bernadette.”

Remy and Nicki are both nominees for BET’s Best Female Hip-Hop Artist category, which means the New York natives will most likely face off again on June 25.
